If you want a comedy bang for you buck, there are 6 headliner acts in the ALL STAR show, including names such as David McSavage and Al Porter.
British award-winning comedians such as Phil Kay and Simon Munnery will perform alongside our own local comedy legend, Kevin Gildea (that wonderful fellow from the book shop). There shall be a show with an female line up, Killer Women, and even storytelling with a comedy twist from, Candlelit Tales.
Owen Colgan, from The Hardy Bucks is back with his new show and 3 Bucks Left shall join the festival for the first time. Paddy Cullivan’s got a show for the thinking audience members, ‘I Can’t Believe It’s Not Ireland’. And, if you want to see something completely different, check out South Africa’s ‘First Lady comedian’, Thenjiwe’s show called, ‘The Mandela Effect’ at the dlrLexicon.
There are a number of shows suitable for children such as Improvised Stories from our Lebanon’s funny storyteller, Raffi Feghali, Burkey’s Bingo Family show, and Science Magic, Messy Mayhem. Whatever you do, don’t bring the kids to the Inappropriate Tea Party or the Comedy Cabaret Extrvaganza.
