Chris Kent headlines Dún Laoghaire Comedy Festival - Walters - Nov 6th
Hailing from The Rebel County (That’s Cork for anyone outside Ireland!), Chris gave up the day job as an electrician, to pursue his calling in comedy. In 2010 Chris made his debut at one of Ireland’s biggest comedy festivals in Dublin’s Iveagh Gardens. His compelling storytelling then went on to win him the Comedy Smack Down Award at the Galway Comedy Festival later that year.

T.V. appearances include, the RTÉ 2 panel show Next Year’s News, and The Craig Doyle Show. In the UK, he has appeared on Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central for Comedy Central. In 2017 Chris made his acting debut appearing in the BBC hit sitcom, The Young Offenders.
The show shall be hosted with Canada's, Sean Collins who was nominated for two prestigious Canadian Comedy Awards – ‘Best Male Stand Up’ & ‘Comic’s Comedy Special’. In 2002, Sean had his first hour-long TV special as part of CTV’s ‘Comedy Now’ series, and building on this momentum, he performed a gala set at the 2003 ‘Just For Laughs Festival’ in Montreal. His numerous television appearances include: The World Stands Up Special on Comedy Central, The Comedy Store Television Show and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow on BBC1. “A pleasure to indulge” – The Scotsman
