COMEDY CRASH COURSE – WEEKEND INTENSIVE

Ready to step on stage, sharpen your material, or finally give stand-up a go?

Join comedian Aidan Killian for a high-energy, hands-on Comedy Crash Course Weekend at the prestigious Carnegie Library, Dún Laoghaire.

The course kicks off with an introductory session on Friday evening (2.5 hours), followed by a full immersive weekend:

• Saturday Oct 31: 10am – 5pm
• Sunday Nov 1: 10am – 5pm

Over the weekend, you’ll learn how to:

• Find your unique comedic voice
• Write and structure strong material
• Improve storytelling and stage presence
• Use improvisation and audience connection
• Turn nerves into confidence

This course is designed for:

• Complete beginners who want to try stand-up for the first time
• Comedians looking to develop new material
• Performers who want to tighten and improve existing sets

With only 8 places available, this is a focused, supportive environment with direct feedback and real stage preparation.

🎤 Graduation Night:
Participants will be invited to perform live as part of the Dún Laoghaire Comedy Festival — your chance to step on stage and showcase your work in front of a real audience.

No experience needed — just a willingness to give it a go.
