Three hilarious conscious Canadian comedians join Dún Laoghaire Comedy Festival on Nov 7 at Sandycove Yard.
Freestyling, funny comedians, unvaxed and proud bring you over 75 years with of comedy experience from a place of LOVE TRUTH.
Sean Collins was nominated for two prestigious Canadian Comedy Awards – ‘Best Male Stand Up’ & ‘Comic’s Comedy Special’. In 2002, Sean had his first hour-long TV special as part of CTV’s ‘Comedy Now’ series, and building on this momentum, he performed a gala set at the 2003 ‘Just For Laughs Festival’ in Montreal. His numerous television appearances include: The World Stands Up Special on Comedy Central, The Comedy Store Television Show and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow on BBC1. “A pleasure to indulge” – The Scotsman
Alex Lasarev: Alex’s comedy sometimes feels more like a spiritual sermon than a comedy show. Having survived a highly abusive childhood, Alex has been on a lifetime journey of healing, forgiveness, and self realization. Alex’s favourite topics are his own egomaniacal tendencies, the brutal journey of spirtual awakening, and his outrageous adventures in attempting to awaken the public to psychological operations. The latter jokes may not be for all audiences 😉
Healing, Spiritual Awakening, and his own foolishness comprise most of his material. Oh, and he loves digging into “Conspiracy theories.” Alex sometimes has his audiences play interactive games to get them to up and connect authentically with each other. The underlying message of Alex’s humour is that we are all imperfect beings trying to do our best. And boy, it sure can be a shitshow sometimes.
Craig Campbell: Craig recently supported Frankie Boyle for the third time on his national tour and was a hit on ALAN DAVIES’ As Yet Untitled (Dave). He’s also performed on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow (BBC One), Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC Three), and was responsible for easing the contractions of an expectant mother who laughed so hard at his performance on Dave’s One Night Stand (Dave) – which detailed an encounter with a badger…her waters broke.
